Realtor®I was born in South Africa, grew up in Zimbabwe, have lived on three continents, and by recent count, visited equally as many States as I have countries (29 and counting). The world is full of beautiful people, extraordinary places, and although my quest to explore is unyielding, I feel blessed to have dug my roots in Austin. The secret is out. Austin is a special place in its own weird kinda way.
During my formative years, I dreamt of becoming a Safari Guide! Why? Because I’m passionate about the outdoors, I wanted to share that love with anyone willing to listen. So, I got a diploma in Game Ranging and Lodge Management and a degree from the University of Cape Town in Zoology & Environmental, and Geographical Sciences. But, while my passion is nature, the true love of my life is my wife and son, and providing the best for them brought me to America.
Before getting into Real Estate, I worked in the Aerospace industry for 15+ years buying and selling commercial aircraft components and services for customers around the world. It was a blast dealing in the global travel industry, and the pivot to Real Estate is well-served by this experience and brings a lot to the award-winning and acclaimed Veritas Group at Compass.
My family and I moved to Austin from Seattle in 2015. We were looking for sunny weather, and BOY, did we find it. After two years of searching for the right neighborhood and another year searching for the right property, we settled into our beautiful home in the highly-sought EANES ISD.
I share this because finding a home and community that fits takes a lot of thought and care. A lot of research, investigation, and exploration.
